Leadership for a New Generation
Christian grew up in North Iowa and spent his childhood on a family farm near Lake Mills in Winnebago County. In the early 2000s, he made a significant life change by moving to Bloomington, MN. He embraced a life of service, contribution, and work there. Eventually returning home to North Iowa in January 2020.
A committed military veteran, Christian last served as a Reserve Senior Leader with US European Command in Stuttgart, Germany. His career, marked by multiple global deployments, culminated in his retirement this spring as Chief Master Sergeant after 29 years of dedicated service.
Beyond his military endeavors, Christian has built a career in property management. His dedication to community service extends to his prior career as a police officer with the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs in Minneapolis, where he confronted the challenges of mental health, drug abuse, and crime head-on.

With decades of experience serving the nation and protecting local communities, Christian draws from extensive experiences to address complex issues. His commitment to God, family, hard work, and Iowa values have prepared him to serve as the Representative for the citizens of House District 59. The citizens deserve a representative who will effectively carry their voices to the Capitol in Des Moines, and he is ready to accept that challenge!
Family
Christian and Angela, married for 17 years, have a blended family and are the proud parents of two adult sons and three granddaughters.
Faith
Christian and Angela are active parishioners at Epiphany Parish, regularly attending services and supporting parish ministries.

With a steadfast commitment to excellence, he dedicates his life to defending freedom, advocating for mental health, and fostering safe environments. His values reflect integrity, duty, and compassion, driving him to make a significant impact in both military and civilian spheres.
Taxes
Eliminate state income taxes.
Lower tax and administrative fee burdens on small businesses.
Reduce taxes on clothing, home health items, & personal hygiene products.
Economy
Cut unnecessary, burdensome, and dated regulations on businesses.
Increase training for skilled trades and tech jobs in various industries.
Invest in local public infrastructure to benefit our communities.
Public Safety
Increase funding for drug task force manning and law enforcement officer
training
Restrict the use of sweetheart plea deals by courts for violent offenders and
high-level drug offenses
Expand mental health, drug rehab, and homeless programs.
